Jeff planned a business trip to Pennslyvania this August, so we rented a mini-van and made it a family trip by stopping in at my Uncle Tom and Aunt Doris' house. It was so much fun seeing family and spending time with them! Tom took the boys on many 4-wheeler rides and tractor rides. They also got to use the big pool and really enjoyed jumping off of the diving board for the first time! I also had the opportunity to visit with Julie Parker and Meg Rodriguez. Doris let us borrow her car so that we could drive to Meg's house in Sherburne; it was great to see all the finishing touches that Meg and Mike have put on to their house! Owen was a sweetheart and played with the boys and helped keep them entertained. They talked about Owen for days!My cousin Megan picked me and the boys up while Jeff was in PA, and we spent the night at her house. She made this awesome on-the-grill meatloaf and baked beans, and had the ingredients to make s'mores with the boys! They loved it! The next morning, she took us to the park near her house where we enjoyed the warm weather....a nice change from the scorching hot temps in Charlotte! What a great way to spend a week of our summer!
